The device works by sucking in air rapidly through a high-speed fan. The air is purified before entering the chambers through strong filters that remove any airborne particles and water soluble volatile organic compounds.

The HEPA filters remove any particles that are larger than 0.3 μm At this size, major pollutants and particles like PM 2.5 are removed. The air is then moved into chambers in which the loops become successively smaller. This gradually reduces the temperature of the air until it reaches its dew point. At this stage, the vapor cools into liquid water.

The freshly generated water is pulled into a filtration system comprising of 4 filters- pre-carbon, post carbon, UV by which time all pollutants, bacteria and odor are removed. This water is then mineralized to meet International Standards.
